Frequently Asked Questions

01. Line pump vs boom pump?

A line pump is ideal for smaller, more accessible pours where concrete flows through hoses on the ground. A boom pump uses an articulated arm to reach higher or further, perfect for multi-storey buildings and large areas. We have both available for your needs.

We service the Northern Rivers, Clarence Valley and Coffs Coast regions, including Grafton (our base), Lismore, Ballina, Yamba, Coffs Harbour, Woolgoolga and surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether we service your location, give us a call on 02 6642 5505 and we’ll let you know.

Getting a quote is easy and free. Simply fill out our online contact form with details about your project, or give us a call on 02 6642 5505. We’ll discuss your requirements and provide a competitive quote within 24 hours. No obligation, no hidden costs.

Absolutely. We work with homeowners on residential projects like driveways, slabs and reblocking, as well as builders and contractors on commercial developments. We also undertake council infrastructure work including car parks, footpaths and roads. Whatever the project size, we’re equipped to handle it.

05. What days and hours do you operate?

We operate 6 days a week Monday to Saturday. Standard business hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though we can arrange after-hours pours depending on project requirements. Sunday work may be available for urgent jobs. Call us on 02 6642 5505 to discuss.

Shotcrete (also called spray concrete) is concrete sprayed onto a surface under pressure. It’s ideal for retaining walls, pool surrounds, curved surfaces and hard-to-reach areas where traditional pouring isn’t practical. It bonds well, requires minimal formwork and creates a strong, durable finish. Perfect for both residential and commercial projects.

Light rain isn’t usually a problem, but heavy rain can affect concrete quality and curing. We monitor weather conditions carefully and will advise if postponement is necessary to ensure the best result for your project. It’s always best to discuss weather contingencies when booking your pour.

We primarily offer concrete pumping services with experienced operators included. This ensures safety, quality and reliability. If you have specific equipment hire needs, please contact us directly on 02 6642 5505 or email crcpumping@outlook.com to discuss your requirements.
